Privacy Policy
Information Database and Direct Mailing. For the purposes of the website’s operation, information about its users may be collected, including the use of COOKIES, in order to improve the service offered. The site offers its users the option to receive updates via email and/or messages. In accordance with Amendment 40 to the Communications Law (Bezeq and Broadcasts), when placing orders on the site, the option to receive this service will be offered to the orderer, and if agreed to receive it, “Mayas” will be authorized to send the orderer information about its services and also advertising content from time to time by email and/or messages – whether it’s information published by “Mayas” itself or information received for the purpose of dispatch from other advertisers, and to transfer his details to third parties for the purpose of receiving benefits. If the orderer does not wish to continue receiving commercial information as mentioned, they have the right to cancel their consent and stop receiving the aforementioned commercial information by contacting “Mayas.”
Purpose of Information Collection. Information about the orderer is required for contacting the orderer to complete the order process, as well as for sending/receiving emails and/or messages to phones and contacting the orderer in other ways, subject to the orderer’s consent to this and legal instructions. It is emphasized that providing data by the orderer is not legally required, but without it, it will not be possible to use the site, including placing orders.
Use of Information. The site will be entitled to use the details provided by the orderer and information collected about the usage patterns on the site and the purchase patterns of the orderers, for the purpose of improving the services and communication with the orderers, for direct mailing, and/or for analysis and/or information processing and statistics, and for this purpose, the site may transfer the information to third parties provided that such transfer will not identify the orderer. Information collected about users who visit the site anonymously will only have a general statistical nature.
Orderer’s Consent to Use of Information. The orderer hereby declares that they approve the transfer and/or collection and/or storage and/or processing and/or use of data and/or information for commercial purposes and/or sending advertising content and/or any other information as detailed in the regulations, and hereby irrevocably and unconditionally waives any right, claim, demand, and/or request against “Mayas” in connection with the aforementioned.
Consumer Protection Law: Consumer protection/cancellation of a transaction/sale and/or failure of consideration. A customer is entitled to cancel an order in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 1981 (hereinafter: “Consumer Protection Law”).
Transfer of Information to Third Party. “Mayas” will not transfer users’ personal details and information that personally identifies them, collected during their activity on the site, to third parties, except in the following cases: (a) subject to the above section 1, in case such transfer is required to entitle an orderer to benefits within a consumer club serving “Mayas” customers; (b) if “Mayas” receives a judicial order instructing it to transfer the orderer’s details or information about him to a third party or if such transfer is carried out according to any other law; (c) in any dispute, claim, demand, legal proceedings, as may be, between the orderer and “Mayas”; (d) transfer to corporations related to “Mayas”, provided that these corporations will use the information subject to the regulations; (e) if “Mayas” merges its activities or the site’s activities into another corporation, and/or transfers its activities to a third party, in case “Mayas” ceases its commercial activities and/or any right of it under the regulations, provided that the corporation transferred as mentioned will undertake the use of information in accordance with the regulations; (f) to a third party providing “Mayas” with services in connection with the orders, including for the purpose of supporting the site, customer service, shipping the orders.
